Tako to Tofu - 2009

A journey through regional Japanese cuisine, starting with tako (octopus) in the Siberian cold of Japan's northernmost island Hokkaido and finishing with tofu in the tropical southern Islands of Okinawa.

Tako to Tofu was the response to a third-year university brief to create a book about a journey.

In 2011 Tako to Tofu was a featured project on Illustration Served. It was also an Art Shot on Zouch Magazine. In 2009 it was featured as part of Computer Arts Magazine's Graduate Showcase.
